Teacher workflow
After IEP import, staff use the same Mongo roster everywhere — no second database.
- Onboard — IEP PDF import (creates goals, accommodations, BIP panels)
- Configure — assignments & supports in this hub (step 2) or assignment builder
- Monitor — Live dashboard for class view + quick behavior log
- Plan — Teacher hub for reports, grades, goals, and day-to-day links
- Voice / family — Talk to Reason (mic → Case Note intents) · Family messages (parent thread)
Create assignments for students (title, subject, due date) or add accommodations/services (e.g. Extended time on tests) to a student's profile.
Add Assignment
Creates a new assignment in the database. Optional: assign to specific students; leave empty for all.
Add Support
Adds an accommodation (e.g. preferential seating) or service (e.g. Case management) to a student's IEP profile.
Describe what to add in plain English. Reason (Ollama Case Note) drafts assignments, accommodations, services, interventions / BIP, and optional behavior logs — staff preview then apply to demo Mongo. Plans now include the student’s skill baseline / goal AI diagnostic when on file (same path as Monitor Hub → Diagnostic → AI modify). Student sees them on Enhanced Dashboard. For mic commands (notes, family draft, supports), use Talk to Reason.
Students write in Make it yours on their dashboard. Preview here, then Apply to acknowledge — this does not auto-write the legal IEP.

Roster-scoped DMs between classmates — students see 💬 on dashboard and assignments. You see everything here. Hide removes a message from student view.
IEP PDF import auto-creates BIPs from Behavior-area goals and any behaviorPlan in the draft. Use this section to add more interventions or log incidents manually — same Mongo as the dashboard Behavior System tab.
Create intervention / BIP
Writes to interventions. Use Behavior Plan for BIP-style rows.
Log behavior incident
Writes to behavior_incidents. Auto-links to active intervention when present.
